The works involved the realignment of 500m of the R103 Ratoath Road between Cabra and Finglas to facilitate the closing of level crossing XG002.  The scheme included  the construction of a new bridge over the Dublin to Sligo Railway line and the Royal Canal as well as associated roadworks, earthworks, drainage, fencing and utilities diversions.
