Executive Visit to Ulster Hospital Site

On 7th January 2014 the Directors and Non- Executive Directors of the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (SEH&SCT) paid a visit to construction works of the new Generic Ward Block construction at the Ulster Hospital.

The project for Graham – BAM Healthcare Partnership is to construct a new Generic Ward Block (28,000 m2) at the existing Ulster Hospital site for South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (SEH&SCT).

The Project includes:

  • Inpatient accommodation – 288 Single ensuite bedrooms (12 wards per floor over 4 floors each with 24 single ensuite bedrooms)
  • 4 Day Surgery Theatre Suites
  • 3 Endoscopy Suites
  • Cardiac Catheterisation Suite
  • Pharmacy
  • Redevelopment of the Critical Care Unit
  • Communication links to existing hospital buildings
