Construction of a Suspended turbine slab., Approx 30m x 15m x 3m deep.
This foundation had to be constructed within an enclosed turbine hall utilising a gantry crane due to project constraints.
The Peat storage building constructed of double basement conveyor shafts and an interracial Reinforced concrete A-frame superstructure.
The construction of this structure was the first of a kind in Ireland and was based on a Finnish design, close liaison and co-ordination was required with the mechanical contractor to ensure the tight tolerances and programmes were achieved.
The water intake structure consisted of an RC Structure approx 5m x 7m x 5 meters deep. This structure was built downstream of the power station on the edge of a river bank.
