BAM brought together suppliers, subcontractors, clients and industry partners at a dedicated supply chain engagement event in Ireland, recognising the important role its supply chain plays in delivering projects across the region.
The event provided an opportunity to share strategic priorities, strengthen relationships and reinforce the importance of collaboration in delivering long-term, sustainable success.
Leaders from across the organisation were joined by representatives from across BAM’s supply chain and wider industry network for a series of presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions focused on building trust, improving early engagement, and reinforcing the shared ambition of “Building a Sustainable Tomorrow.”
The event included insights into BAM’s forward-looking project pipeline across infrastructure, public-sector development and sustainability-focused projects. Speakers highlighted the importance of early engagement, clear communication and aligned expectations in supporting successful project delivery.
“Partnership is central to everything we deliver, and events like this allow us to connect openly, listen carefully and continue building the collaborative foundation needed for the future.”
Alasdair Henderson Executive Director, Ireland
A panel discussion featuring representatives from Irish Rail, UCD, Guaranteed Irish, Grafton Group, OMC Technologies and Concast offered valuable external perspectives. Panellists shared reflections and explored the importance of consistency, long-term partnership and early collaboration, across the construction sector.
Attendees also connected with BAM teams through interactive sessions focused on Digital,
Environmental Sustainability, Safe & Well and Social Sustainability, encouraging practical discussions around opportunities, challenges and shared priorities.
“Our supply chain is one of our greatest strengths, by working more openly and listening to our partners, we can improve delivery and create outcomes that benefit clients, communities and the entire industry.”
Martin O’Brien Head of Procurement of BAM Ireland
Caroline Quinn, Director at Concast added:
“Participating in the supply chain engagement event was a very valuable opportunity. As a subcontractor, it allowed us to meet the BAM management team and review the robust pipeline of projects planned for the years ahead. The event also highlighted the strength of collaboration, the importance of early engagement and to discuss the many exciting opportunities on the horizon”
Looking ahead, BAM UK & Ireland remains committed to working closely with its supply chain partners to support continuous learning, strengthen collaboration and deliver lasting value for clients, communities and the wider industry.
