Two Chamberlain Square is the second building at the Paradise Development in Birmingham.

It is an eight storey, 183,000 sq ft Grade A office building, which features large, flexible and efficient floorplates, a sixth floor roof terrace and restaurants and retail at ground level. The building achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating and an EPC rating of B.

Building of the Paradise Scheme

A Classically styled facade

The building has a striking façade, which faces onto the redesigned Chamberlain Square and helps bring the public realm to life. It features elegant, slender columns, which are the full height of the building and four times higher than those on the Parthenon in Athens. The columns also pay homage to the classically styled columns on Birmingham Town Hall, which sits next to it.

Constructed using a 32 tonne crane

The Paradise Tower Crane 4 was an integral part of the construction process. It is one of the largest tower cranes operating in Birmingham at 80 metres in height, equivalent to 20 double-decker buses, and with ballast weight of 32 tonnes – the equivalent of six and a half fully grown African bush elephants.
